Guest guest
Hi Dawn I also have receding gums due to peridontitis which is the shrinking of the guys or receding gums are diseased and eventually the teeth will become lose or fall out. I have a full upper denture since 1987 but my bottom ones will probably not be able to be saved longer. I was definatly not a candidate for the implants because of the receding gums. I started out just like you and first I lost my two front teeth ande wore a maxillary flipper then I started losing the teeth that were ancoring the flipper and when that happened, they just pulled all the upper teeth that were remaining on top and gave me a denture. I was only 35 when I lost my upper teeth. It's a given that the bottom ones that are remaining will have to be extracted. I don't have PBC that I know of just I negleted my teeth pretty much when I was younger. I don't know if PBC causes gum disease, but I'm sure it doesn't help. Tustin, CA [ ] receding gums I just read a post on receding gums. Is this another one of those weird side effects of pbc. I now have 3 teeth that are loose. Front teeth at that. Let me know. It is very sore to the touch & it doesn't look too good either. ==>I also want to add that it would help if you did some of the treatments in the Thrush article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat18.php Bee
