Guest guest
Dear Luanne, Thanks so very much for thinking of me. You have done such a terrific job with Ty, so you DO understand how important being a mom is. When they start to grow up, you want to protect them, but at the same time give them enough independence. Danny (16) and a (13) know that they can live with me forever...well, till they feel they are old enough (or I am too old!) Danny also has to take ESE classes in high school (he has cerebral palsy from the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck 3 times, tight)...but he is the most thoughtful, considerate and loving person I have ever known. Yes, his ankle/foot surgery is June 29 and he will be casted with no weight bearing for 6-12 wks. I do have a walker and cane for him and the church will let us borrow a wheelchair. a got straight A's and will be going to high school in Aug....I'm so glad she is involved with the band group, they keep her very busy with wholesome activities. There is a large community college about 1/2 away from home, but eventually she will have to go a large university (wants to be a forensic scientist). My GYN said I am not healing quite as quickly from the hysterectomy, but that is probably due to my liver and the prednisone. But I remain optimistic . Fortunately, my brother-in-law takes the kids places and helps me with broken stuff around the house. I pray for you and Ty and and your loved ones everyday. God bless you,
