I called the church and someone came to pick me up (and I requested it be someone with an SUV, minivan, or truck). My husband pooped out on me and decided not to go - he even decided he was too tired just to drop me off at church. I just went to the regular service - there's no way I'm ready for Sunday School yet. I did fine except my brace and the pews do not get along. I couldn't find a comfortable way to sit. I'll go experiment this week and see if I can find a chair I can sit in that they can put out there for me. In case you don't know, I'm the church secretary and I can't bear to be away for very long. is back home and part of the unemployed population again. At least I have someone to take care of me now and I can get away with being bossy just a little bit. Wednesday I have to go to Raleigh to see Dr. Watters. He insists on seeing this abdominal incision. It is still seeping and a little red even on the Keflex. I have also broken out in a rash on my chest. My arms, legs, and buttocks have itched like mad for about a week now. I called the on-call physician last night, of course she knows nothing of me or my situation. She thinks it might be the Keflex though I've never been allergic to it before. She said it was okay to take Benadryl to stop the itch. Anyone else break out in a rash or itch all over after surgery?
