Guest guest
Hi Cheryl, Bozena, Debbie and all, I want to thank you so much for your supportive and caring words. I know many of us are going through a rough time right now...I read the posts everyday and feel such a kinship to you all. No, I am not listed yet, but should be by next week when I meet with the tx team in Miami. I was diagnosed AIH in Jan. 2000, imuran 100 mg, pred 10 mg, but I really started the end-stage cirrhosis pattern this year with ascites, esophageal bleeding and hepatic encephalopathy. I worked as an RN for 23 years and taught college psychology until I got sick. My son turns 16 this month and my daughter is 13, husband passed away 2 years ago. I just want this seeming nightmare to end, so I can get back to play and work. I've been hesitant to tell family or friends about the need for hysterectomy...so I vent my concerns here first...I hope we all can be comfortable doing that. I believe in the power of prayer and I pray for us all everyday. God bless,
Guest guest
, You have too much on your plate right now. I don't know how you are keeping your sanity! We certainly wish you the best news possible in Miami. It seems like the AIH dx came extremely close to your current status. Did the doctors dismiss your complaints/symptoms? Are you able to get a little peace and tranquility for yourself? Yoga or massage? You deserve a little special time. Take care-and know that you are in our thoughts each day, Debbie OH > Hi Cheryl, Bozena, Debbie and all, > I want to thank you so much for your supportive and caring words. Guest guest
Hi , I'm so sorry to hear your latest news. It just doesn't seem fair. You know that I'm in West Palm and would love to be whatever help I can. Right now I'm hobbling along on crutches so I'm about as much help as nothing. I do have a great ear for listening. Take good care, Debbie/FL > Hi Cheryl, Bozena, Debbie and all, > I want to thank you so much for your supportive and caring words.
