Guest guest
Hi Joanne, I was thinking of calling you but now that you have posted there is no need. Thanks so much for thinking of me. The folks here have been very helpful just as you were. I all my little ducks in order and I am ready to go, about 13 days early but ready non the less. I have one more appt with Glazer on the 20th. Thank you for the sentiments all the well wishes and prayers are gladly accepted for the 24th on. I'll need it. I am hoping, that spring makes all the difference as I do have a tendency to get maudlin, I hope the weather spirits me out of it. I intend to get online asap for extra support. Thanks for thinking of me. At 12:40 PM 4/11/2006, you wrote: , Was checking in on this web site for the first time in a while and noticed your posts. I was thinking of you lately, remembering our conversation and that you were scheduled for surgery on the 25th. I wanted to wish you well. I'm sure everything will go fine. All the emotions you speak about came flooding back back for me in the first month I was home, but each day got better than the day before. I had my surgery a month earlier in the calendar than you so the cold weather made it harder for me to get myself out because I hated having to bundle up. You won't have that problem. Spring is here, the sky is blue, the days are longer...all will help as soon as you start to get out which will be sooner than you think. Again, I'll be thinking of you. Hope you wake up from surgery as I did, free of pain and looking forward to a better life.
