Hey, Marty, great to see you posting.

After reading your message I went right into my husband's home office

and told him how happy I am to have such a good husband! I can only

imagine what it must have been like with your ex. So glad you've found

your breath of fresh air!

As for me.... I am still tipped forward pretty bad, but thinner, less

depressed, and healthier. Did swimming pool exercises on my own all

last summer (thanks to new move then, with a pool now at home - YES!)

and that was truely amazing and helpful. Plus, I found romance again,

after being divorced and non-dating for over 5 years. I really

believed for a long time that no man could find me attractive the way I

am physically.. . stupid, I know! After being with someone for almost

30

years that was so focused on appearances and material things, my new

guy is a breath of fresh air!

I have been busy... my youngest is graduating from High School on the 20th of

this month. My new " honey " just left for Colorado for the summer... he is a

chef, so usually does a gig there to keep cool. Thanks to his great cooking, I

have gained back some weight! I am about to start PT again and get back into

the pool in a few weeks. My grandson, age 6, will be here to visit for the

month of June, so I imagine I will be pretty pooped out most of the time!

I just read one post about ie... so sad to hear the news! I will have to

spend some time going back thru' the posts. You know, the last time before

February that I had written anything on here, was when had passed, during

her trip to Africa. That really affected me as she and I had talked a couple of

times on the phone. You know, we do feel a connection to folks here, even if we

never get to meet... Just confirms how this scoliosis bonds us in our shared

life experiences.

Great to hear from you Marty. You sound great. What's the talk about a new

" honey " ? tell all! will you be seperated then for the whole summer? Nice to have

the grandkids around, they keep you hopping. My son is 9 and I still hop on

demand. We walk every morning he and I for exercise and we play basketball every

morning for twenty minutes or so before school starts. Keep in touch... C
