Wow Debbie,

I'm so sorry that everything seems to be working against you with

taking action against your home health aide. I'm happy that your

doctor was able to refill your prescription, though what a stressful

situation. I'm also sorry to hear that your screws are moving, but

am glad that they seem to have identified that as the source of your

pain - and I hope that things go alright and that you can tolerate

the pain until March. I'm happy that you were able to see some

fusing on your x-rays! How exciting My 6-month check will be in a

little less than 4 weeks, and I hope to hear the same good news!

I am sorry to hear you have had such a rough day....although that is

good news that your are beginning to show signs of fusion. Hopefully

this will all straighten out soon with your thieving CNA. I am

surprised that they are quantifying the charges based on the dollare

value of the meds. Isn't trafficing/dealing/using controlled

substances in itself a bigger crime?

I hope you find a way to live with the screws for the next few months

too. I wonder if you read the posts about cluneal nerve entrapment? I

know if I was experiencing symptoms that were pointing to the screws

I would probably chase this less invasive procedure first to

determine if it was actually the nerve entrapped in scar tissue

around the screw or the screw itself. From what Martha said it might

be hard to find a ultrasoundographer capable of doing this...but they

are out there. She has had excellent results.

Sorry Debbie that it IS your iliac screws. I (and ) know all

about that! I just went and had my CT scan done today, and they are

supposed to mail the films to my doctor. I will call after Jan. 1 and

see if there is any chance the films are there at that point. My

left one bothers me alot and has since the end of May (about 2 1/2

mos. post-op). From what my doctor told me, they don't like to take

them out before the 9th month to make sure that everything is fused.

(That is what my CT was for) However, when I saw my doctor in

September for my 6 mo. checkup, she said she can see no movement in

any of my metal hardware including the screws. I just have to take

pain pills and go to work everyday like I did before my surgery.

Such is life!!

Sorry about your pill theft. Hope it all gets taken care of one way

or another.
