I began to suspect that all was not well in medicine when I had a baby, and tried so unsuccessfully to nurse him as medical establishment did everything to prevent me from being successful. Later I read La Leche League material that docs whole education on breastfeeding infants was a half page picture of a breast. I am sure they were still operating on the concept that formula was equal or in some cases superior to breastfeeding.
