Oh my goodness. Wow. I don't really even know what to say. My thoughts

are with .

You know...it's really hard to believe that that could happen but I

guess this is a good reminder to all of us to take things slowly.

When I talked to , she told me that Dr. Hu had kiddingly told her

that she was going to tie her to her bed.

I emailed Dr. Hu to see if she could explain why the infection made

lean, and her response was that the " top right hooks had migrated

out. " I'm even more confused by that response, but think a better

explanation will have to wait until I see Dr. Hu in person (or

gets an explanation that she can understand).

,

Please tell I am pulling for her to get this resolved. I will

also be interested to hear if the infection played a role in the hooks

not seating properly.

Oh, , that's awful!

Wow! I guess when they tell us not to bend over after surgery, they mean

it!

Wish the best. She was probably doing too much and not the right things that may have caused the leaning. Just too much in a hurry to get better (not that I blame her).

Let her know that my appointment, that was on the same day, went well and so did my daughter's birthday (her Champaign birthday turning 28 on the 28th). My youngest daughter tried embarrassing her by bringing in a big bouquet of flowers, telling customers about her birthday (to which one broke into song for her, so that other customers in the store wished her a Happy Birthday), then at shift change my youngest brought in a big bouquet of balloons, as well as a couple of smaller gifts when she got home.

So I'm sure that this surgery will turn out great for her, if she behaves herself that is and not try to rush things. I hope she gets a chuckle about hearing about the birthday surprises that my daughter had to endure. Take care of yourself, . We would be lost without you and the support that you give everyone.
