Guest guest
Boy, ain't that the truth Barbara. I still take Neoral (cyclosporin) and it does smell like skunk. My husband says tha tmy breath has a bad odor after a few hours and sometimes I belch it up and can taste it. I have never felt that the smell was in my perspiration or urine either. It sure has been a good drug for anti-rejection though. Lori C. Guest guest
Barbara, I was also in a study that was just broken. I was on either Cellcept or AZA and It turned out that I was on Cellcept, which has turned out also to be a very good anti-rejection medication. It has caused me some stomach upset though, and may be aggravating my Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Lots of more new drugs being experimented with and studied. The world of transplantation has come so far and gives people like you and me a 2nd chance at life. Good life, & Good health to you!! Lori C. Guest guest
J I have never had any problem with Imuran doing that. I do have a hard time getting the geltabs I take to go down, I have to eat something on top of them, or I have pain and burps and all kinds of agony. So I take my meds and eat a little of something on top to make them go down better. I think it is actually the gelcap that is the problem. I have had no problem whatsoever with the Imuran.
