I cannot even begin to tell you how different I am from head (especially the inside) to toe (except that now I care that I need a pedicure and still can't reach them)! It seems the infection inside my body was really attacking everything. I hate to think of the toxic build-up on top of all the anesthesia, nuclear medicine test, and pain/muscle relaxer meds. Add to that the hopelessness associated with thinking the three surgeries I endured were leaving me with acute pain and you have a reclusive basket case.

I am feeling so well that I will return to work half days this week (probably Thursday). If it turns out to be too much, I'll cut back, but I really can attribute the majority of the misery to the UTI. I am far from 100%, but honestly feel well enough to brave the office. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am only taking one Ultram and one Hydrocodone (Norco) a day. Considering I was taking up to six Hydrocodone plus two Flexeril a day and still feeling the pain less than a week ago, that is a small miracle.

I would appreciate whatever telepathic support and energy you can spare as I brave the office. They STILL haven't hired a supervisor for my office (the last one resigned in September), so it is bound to be a little nutty.

Congrats on your outings. It is truly nice to see something besides the walls of your home!!!
