Guest guest
How are you feeling with you TSH at that level?? That would be too high for me - around 1 is optimal. Just wondering.... H. Newest bloodwork T4(free) - 1.0 TSH = 3.59 T3( don't know if free or not) - 121 He says these are all in the normal range.....
Guest guest
Well, after the past couple of weeks of feeling awful, I feel pretty good. I'm tired though. I need to get back in my program of working out 6 days a week, that would really help. Ugh. The last time I tested it was .11, now it's 3.59. He told me that this is par for the course for Hashimoto's. I think it stinks. > How are you feeling with you TSH at that level?? That would be too high for me - around 1 is optimal. Guest guest
, I've been pretty stable for several years now on just Levothroid. As long as I keep it in the refrigerator and am consistent about taking it first thing in the morning I do very well. I also make it a point to avoid the goitrogenic vegetables as much as possible. Guest guest
, Please do be careful about getting back to your workout routine. Instead of jumping right back to 6 days a week it would be better to start with 2 to 3 days a week for a few weeks. Then go to 4 days for a few weeks and so forth. Otherwise you'll end up with overtraining syndrome or even an injury. Guest guest
Blood tests don't work as you were never tested when you were well - you need to treat a person and not a blood test Newest bloodwork Well, I've felt so much better since I backed off on my Levoxyl. The numbers that he got were as follows: T4(free) - 1.0 TSH = 3.59 T3( don't know if free or not) - 121 He says these are all in the normal range. Now, I didn't talk to him, I didn't even talk to his nurse, I talked to whoever answered the phone and read my file. Comments?? Ya know, having this disease REALLY sucks. I'm up and down all the time as I'm sure all of you are. Does it ever balance out???
Guest guest
Too much exercise is as bad as too little. Any extreme exercise stresses the body - it need rest too. Guest guest
Sue, If what you were saying were true (and I don't believe it is) then it would be impossible to follow up on any treated thyroid conditions. Guest guest
Sue is right though. Some of us have never been well, and the tests just don't work for us. I think the tests do work when treating with T4 alone, to get into some mythological range, but it doesn't mean the patient is well. This is the insanity---the test is well but the patient is still sick. It's disgustin'.
