Hi Jennie,

The first thing I noticed when I started taking pred was that I had a bunch

more energy. A couple of days later, I noticed that some of the joint pain

was easing. It took 6 months or more for the weight gain to become

noticable. But, I started on 40mg and tapered down to 20.

I'm jealous, you guys. I have never met anyone with AIH but you are too far

from Austin. Anyone have any ideas on how I might learn if there is anyone

else in Austin with AIH?

I'm not sure how you can find anyone else in Austin with AIH, other than

possibly posting it on some of the AIH boards. Of course Liver Support has

one, and here are a few other links to try. Good luck!
