Hi again Debra,

When I take my dog to PetSmart store, all he wants to do is chase the birds.

Oddly he shows no interest in the guinea pigs. I would like to have a

bird and a guinea pig, but I am afraid my dog would harm them. He is a Jack

Terrier.

Debra:

Love it. A water pistol. Our big black lab likes to run to the bird cage

when the bird is talking or make noise. The little dog couldn't care less.

But all in all the bird just have a quiet life.

Hi Shireen,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the sister-in-law from hell.

What does your brother (her husband) have to say. Have you tried to talk to

him privately?

Stick to your guns, kid.

I am working on a BS in psychology while I wait to finish my last semester

of graduate school in social work. It requires working 4 days a week and 3

classes and physically I'm not up to that yet. I take 3 classes this

semester and am already thinking that I may have to drop one.

It feels like i need something to hold my head on my shoulders, my spinal

column

and espically my shoulder blades hurt so it goes right up the back of my head

and

I get terrible headaches. I just ached and hurt all over. The hepotologist

I am going to see October 19th can't prescribe anything becasue this will be

my first vist I

guess the first one is a consultation but I am hopeing that I can talk him

into giving me something for the pain. I can't imagine what it will be like

when it gets bitter cold

and the snow flies. Have you ever woke up in the morning and your muscles in

your neck and shoulders feel like you have been fighting with someone all

night. My legs are nothing but black and blues and red marks. Do you have

any of these little red blisters like that are filled with blood I have them

all over my chest and stomach?

even my bust. I am going to call my regular doctor Monday and see if he will

give me

something. I know it will be a fight. Thanks, Shireen for answering my post

as I

Shireen,

I believe what you want to do to print something without other stuff on it.

Highlight what you want to print then go to the print screen it says print

all you go find print selection only then hit print. You need to change it

within the printer information.

You might have accidently hit the Insert button. Trying hitting it again

and see if that clears things up for you. I do it all the time, when I'm in

a hurry!! Hope this helps. Pat (Cyndi's Mom)

Shireen,

1. go to your hotmail inbox

2. you see at the top and bottom where it says

[inbox/compose/addresses/folders/options]

3. click on options...there will be three columns there

[Your information mail handling additional options]

look under the [ADDITIONAL OPTIONS] column on the far right

on the bottom of that column click on " PREFERENCES "

4. scroll down until you see " MESSAGE HEADERS " then change your

setting to " BASIC " .

5. That will take care of the header problem.

:o)

You can apply for food stamps....they are a big help....My mom had to get on

them years ago when my Dad had his heart attack and couldn't work for

months....then when he went back they stopped....There are also alot of

churches that offer lunch for the people who need it....

For Energy....It means making alot of phone calls...start with your

town...they will pass the buck until you just want to give up...but keep at

it....

Before my mom moved in (which was 4 yrs ago) knowing that she would be coming

here soon and I would need some help with the fact that she did have some

problems...from her osteoporosis...after many, many phones calls to county

and then state...I finally got someone who had some help.....We had to prove

income etc...and were put on a list......This particular list was long and

said it would be a coupld of years....Well they have finally come thru...They

have started the process with inspecting the house...we did put on an

addition ourselves but were unable to do alot of the finish work....some

siding...etc...they are going to do it all....plus we need a downstairs

bathroom....for mom...some bathroom bars to her....ramps off the

back...etc....It was a long waiting process but it will be getting done....We

have done all the other work ourselves and have run out of funds and

time.....So there is help out there...Get on a list no matter what....if you

don't need it later so be it.....but you never know...in the mean time go to

your local chapters for help...like the Lions etc...They will

help...especially the Ladies Auxilary from these groups....Like Andi who

found a place to but canned goods etc at a very good price....

Hope this will help you....

The West Nile is still here in New York the minute we have a warm kind of day

there back and they say the small one's are the one's that carry the virus.

Isn't it something that you can't even go outdoors anymore I worry so much

about my

grandchildren and all of us really. The mayor and councilmen where I live are

still fighting if it will be worth spraying. The heck with the people they

don't want to

spend the money. Hugs,

Shireen - Gosh it as close to you as it is to me and we live in two different

states, it

really should be a concern. But what is strange is that it seems to be that

they effect the crows more often than any other birds. I know in some areas

they have

found dead cows. All of the pathology reports say West Nile. Think we

should head

south Shireen? Hugs,

Hi ,

They found a dead crow infected with West Nile just about 8 miles from my

house here in NJ. It is pretty scarey.

Hi...

Don't forget that Ty has other auto-immune diseases....When he was 9 he was

fine except for the migraines (we just thought they were from being over

tired....we ran around alot with his older brother and sister who were

involved in alot of activities that meant late night....he would get these

bad headaches...throw up...go to sleep and feel better the next day.)We knew

no-one who had migraines so we didn't know what they were...

Anyways....we had spent the day at my moms pool...swimming all day...he was

exhausted...started a fever on the way home...just wanted to sleep...we

figured he just over did...Next day the fevers were 105...took him to his

pediatrician...he said he had a bug...gave him an antibiotic...his first

ever....he got sicker....throwing up like crazy getting weaker and

weaker....back to doc...switch meds....still sicker...going on the 2nd

week...couldn't keep a spoonful of water down...Went to local hosp for

labs....he was so weak at this point...hes ped called and said to take him to

Childrens Hosp in Philly...where we were already taking my other son for

UC....What he didn't tell me was that his sed rate was over 100.....We rushed

him there..at this point we had to carry him....' (my other son) docs

took one look at Ty and his labs and admitted him...It took 2 weeks of many

types of doctors coming to see him....No one knew what was going on....For

somereason this was the beginning of his immune system attacking.....His

first diagnosis was and still is Crohns...the the RA...then the AIH and

PSC...his immune system has also attack his skin..his eyes...his spleen...his

Crohns is quite involved...instead of just being in his intestines it is in

his stomach and esophagus(I know that is spelled wrong..but my brain can't

not think right now...)

So he is not the best for examples....

How have you been doing....find any help with food and heat....I hope so...

Take care of yourself....I think of you everytime we go over the bridge to

Philly...which is lately every week...we will be going again on tues after

just being there for his CT last tues....

Oh well I think my Izuzu knows how to get there without me....LOL...

I am in Central New York and honestly I have never seen hail come down like

snow,

we thought it was so until we looked on the deck and you could see all of the

hail stones. It is in the low 30's here tonight Shireen and it's cold with a

wind. This is

the life of living in New York and you in Jersey don't you? I would give

anything for warm weather all year, must be my age I hate the cold. I went

to the store last night after our hail episode and it took me a half hour to

get all the ice off the windows by

then I was numb. I am a person that hates to be cold my hands and feet are

always

cold. They said in todays paper it was a freaky thing, what else do they

have in store for us. Take care Shireen, Hug's

Shireen - you know it really gets to me the way doctors blame everything on

weight,

I know sometimes excess weight can cause pain in legs and feet, etc. But it

is not

the answer to everything. I was 100lbs most of my life turned 40 had a

hysterectomy, quit smoking and gave up caffeine and all hell broke loose t

gained if

I looked at food. I have tried to start drinking at least one cup of coffee

a day but I

really feel it, should it effect my liver like that? I desperately need the

caffeine boost.

You mentioned in one of your posts about you are on a low sugar, low fat diet

can you share what you are eating? Any suggestions would be a big help.

Thanks so

much. Hugs,
