Dear Lori:

You are not alone in dream 'la la' land. I also have an extremely vivid

dream life. They were even more vivid when my enzymes were high. Of course,

I think that it had more to do with being scared about the outcome rather

than the enzymes themselves. I find that when I'm especially stressed that

they get more vivid. Your body might really be trying to tell you something,

though.

You know, I'm wondering if you have been checked recently for Hep C. Didn't

you say once that you had been diagnosed with 'NonA-NonB' hepatitis at one

time. Hep C used to be called that. If that is the case, it would make more

sense for your symptoms to be cyclical like they are. Also, if you are

taking an antidepressant medication, it could be that it is adversely

affecting your liver. I was surprised to read that so many people in the

group have been prescribed these drugs when it clearly states in the RX info

that caution should be used when prescribing them to people with compromised

livers. It's worth looking into for you and for all of those in the group

who take Zoloft or Paxil. I'm not sure about Prozac because I was unable to

access they're RX info. Hope this is helpful.

My friends could tell you endless stories of my active dreamlife. I have the

most bizarre (Freudian, I'm told!) active dreams of anybody I know.

I had a dream last night that I had a child with liver disease. The disease

presented itself just like mine, etc. The child was in a lot of pain and

crying.

Well, I woke up this morning and I " ve had quite a bit of urq pain along with

nausea all day. It didn't take much for me to figure out that the child was

me. Then I started thinking back about something I noticed... I always have

dreams about my illness when it starts up again. Most of the time, it's in

the first person. In fact, the dreams usually present themselves a week or

so before I start feeling symptoms. I think that is rather strange.

A question I have for the group... (remember, I'm not yet diagnosed). Do you

find your disease to have cycles? For instance, I'm tired ALL the time and

have urq 'most' of the time- that's just a given. But the other symptoms

(nausea, wierd colored 'potty', complete exhaustion) come and go.. lasting

2-3 weeks at a time.

Also, I have a major problem with cold sores. I get them in strange places-

on my arms, in my ears, in my nose, and of course on my mouth. Right now I

have a bunch between my chin and lower lip. I get them at least 1x a month

and even zovirax (that's herpes meds) doesn't do a thing for it. Does anyone

else have a problem with cold sores?

Yes, very close. They are both SSRI and basically do

the same thing

Lori, my facial attack started out with a cold sore but seems to have gone

wild. Between lip and chin is the worst. I don't know if it's cold sores

anymore. And dermatologists seem to be clueless about all my sores, itching

and rashes. I won't go to another.

My active dreamlife is different - it is sensual because I miss having a

relationship and a sensual life.
