Guest guest
I just have to vent a little here. I have been tested for diabetes recently ( I guess hypo isnt enough for me) Anyway I went to webmd to get some info on the subject. And well I was looking at there main conditions page and I did not notice anything about Thyroid problems, heck I had to do a site search to find there thyroid page. And the information was just so bad.... I mean it was like they did it just to say they had one. They say that mild hypo isnt really even worth treating and the symtoms they have there for thyroid are but just a few and they make it sound like it really isnt that bad. I was really upset by the time I was done going through the thyroid part of their site. For a site as big as WEBMD that has so much info on so many other problems, to treat us like we are not that important to really even honor a link on the main conditions page. sheesh guys I know we have problems with our drs and I have come across a lot of people who have no idea what it is like but to see this from a site like theirs,I was really upset.. I am waiting to calm down a bit before I email them. Go and take a look see how bad it really is. I pity any newbie to thyroid problems who take all their advice from that site it is scary.. I am so glad I found you guys before I went there.
Guest guest
yes I have heard that WebMD is truly terrible. Somewhere, maybe it's there, there is a board that doesn't allow discussion of Armour! It's very controlled. At least you know enough to know when a site is totally skewed. Gracia > I just have to vent a little here. Guest guest
in reality it would be easy to treat if caught early---once damage is done that is very difficult to reverse it, especially so many years of damage!!!!! but even so it can be done with a lot of work!!!! And untreated auto-immune disease just evolves into other auto-immune diseases if not treated correctly and you can treat these illness with improving your immune system!!!! that is the only way to do it!!! Also I do believe in cleaning out your system as well---this does help!!! after all I did beat chronic fatigue--haven't had a problem now in 7 years---after having it for 7 years!!!!!! took a lot of juicing veggies and a ton of vitamin C and sleep to get that one out of me!!!!! I was loaded with viruses!!!!!!!!!
