I know the toll high stress jobs and careers take on us. i miss the rat race, but i also like being a mom to my kids and a wife to my husband. Plus they are older (im 33). I think that may be one of the reasons that I don't have a 'manager', I report to a director instead. Just one less level of reporting. Would I go back? No. Plain and simple, no second thoughts.
