Guest guest
Hi folks, Thought I would ask this here. I've been drinking bottled water, but it is getting too expensive. I have a water distiller, and was wondering if anyone here drinks distilled water? I've always heard that distilled water causes bone loss, and I have osteopenia, so I don't wanna drink distilled if that is really true. Or perhaps there is a safe (and tasteless, lol) way to get minerals into distilled water? Thanks, '
Guest guest
Dear , Distilled water is devoid of minerals and will actually leach minerals from the body. I wonder if adding ocean sea salt to distilled water would help. It is recommended having 1/4 tsp. of ocean sea salt per 8 ozs. of water so you could probably do the math on it. Celtic Sea Salt contains over 80 minerals so it might work. I can't afford a good water filter so I use a Brita. It doesn't take out the flouride, but it is better than using regular tap water.
