Guest guest
How is your blood pressure? with the added Licorice here it should have gone up and you should feel warmer??? Have you taken your temp as well??? You sound better you know!!! Much better number for your tsh!! your pituitary is putting out less stimulation because your meds are working better it appears to be. Be careful with the increase, you are dropping nicely. If you feel ever too jittery or heart racing drop back on your meds. Your body is using more t4 and it's making more t3, you may start to feel a bit hyper with the added t3, watch for this. Healing your adreanls does cause your thyroid medication to work better, so the doctor probably does not know you are taking adrenal supplements--so be very careful with increasing your dose on levoxyl. Next time ask for a dhea test this way we can see how the adrenals are doing???? how are you feeling?????? -- In hypothyroidism , <suser@a...> wrote: > I received the info from my blood draw on Monday. Guest guest
just a quick note, susan...gotta leave for work in a sec. I'm not the best person to help anyone figure out lab work...still trying to figure all that out myself. the new " normal values " for TSH is 0.3 - 3.0 ...your TSH of 2.7 is in the normal range, but some of us feel better when our TSH is even lower. i *think* that your high free T4 might mean you've got excess T4 floating around that's not being used at the cellular level...not positive...no time to check it out...off to work. sorry I'm not so helpful. talk to you tonight! {{{hugs}}}sheila suser@... wrote: I received the info from my blood draw on Monday. You are 100% right here Shelia--Which means susan you are not coverting as much as you could but if you did you would have excess t3 -- this shows your body is trying to compenstate for the lack of cortisol--susan you have much more adrenal involvement than we all know given all the info you just provided---what you need to do is add isocort---(only adrenal glandular) ---to your supplements---tell me again everything you take, how much too---thanks tina > I received the info from my blood draw on Monday. Guest guest
Hi , I have a hard time with figuring out the lab results...because of my dyscalculia. Like with algebra, I start seeing numbers everywhere when there's a lot of them and get all confused. They just look all jumbled and sometimes I just feel like I have no clue...ya know. That happens with my algebra a lot. I will completely botch a problem and spend an hour trying to figure it out and turns out I just copied a number wrong. I do that so much, but the other day I had one of those days that it wasn't too bad. Anyway, this is my second day taking the digestive enzymes and MSM. So far so good...no problems. Take it easy!!
