Guest guest
Hi Kiddo! Do you remember awhile back, you gave me some info on drug assistance for transplant people? If it is convenient, would you send it again? My friend with Hep C is real close to getting his new liver, but, his insurance has been cancelled. They are not destitute, YET! But will be real soon with the soaring medical bills and drugs. I gave his wife Donna your address to talk to a positive source of info. Take care, Miss you! Guest guest
Barbara Ann: Thanks for the e-mail address with the organ data. It has a lot of great information. It made me very sad though to read some of the numbers. I guess if Jodi needs another transplant 27 years from now we will just have to find her another sucker like her mama. LOL You have to laugh to keep from crying, I just have to be thankful for this chance. Thanks again and I hope you are doing well. Take care and God bless. Guest guest
Genny and All, Maybe I am way behind the times but visiting the living donor brothers the other day after surgery. They were talking about the docs trying to go down as far as 1/4 living liver if the patient is healthy enough. People like me however I needed an oversized full liver. And should I need another liver a big possibility in the future, I would still need a good sized liver. I have an incredible amount of medical problems that keep adding to my list. Hard to walk away from the docs office not wanting to feel sorry for myself every single week. gayle trans/6-99 ^oo^ galye@...
Guest guest
Debbie, I am learning to live with most of the added problems, and I have days not often where I cry all day. I keep telling myself that this is the way it is. Thankyou for your caring. gayle trans/6-99 ^oo^ galye@...

Guest guest
Gayle, I'm so sorry for all of your sicknesses. I hate to go to the doctors because I never know what will be next and I don't have half as many problems as you and many others. My therapist says I have a right to be angry and to feel sorry for myself from time to time. It's normal. We just have to be careful not to stay there for too long. A good cry usually helps me. My prayers are with you, Debbie/FL > Genny and All, > Maybe I am way behind the times but visiting the living donor brothers the > other day after surgery.
