Guest guest
UMmmm I think you really need a doc who knows a bit more than these two. Of course it's thyroid/maybe adrenal related. Should you really have to beg the doc for progesterone? You can buy high quality progesterone OTC. Read Hormone Solutions by Thierry Hertoghe MD. Guest guest
This was me exactly. After my first miscarriage, and renewed spotting with the second pregnancy, my doctor put me on progesterone. For my second child he started me on it right away. It did the trick, I had two children after that with no problem. Now, the doctor had tested me for, and was certain I was low in progesterone to begin with. Which I understand is typical for hypos. alos, the OTC creams will probably not be strong enough. My ob said progesterone is tricky, you need the right quality and the right administration. He was very picky about where I purchased the hormone. Sublingual tablets were ok the first time around but made me very nausious. Progesterone supposetories worked best. Guest guest
I think you have mistaken me with someone else. Another Peg. I talked to her earlier. My Dr. is a butt hole. I'm on Levoxyl. I still have symptoms but they say my harmone level is normal according to my blood work. PHOOEY! I stay cold, especially my feet and hands, I get nausea, dizzy spells, forgetfulness. Too many to list. I have many health problems and am on about 12 meds. I've had 7 strokes also. Nobody seems to know why. And sex? What sex? I've already went through menopause so I thought that was the reason I didn't have any sexual desires. I'm married and that is causing a lot of problems. I have depression and panic attacks too. Please write back. You may know more about this than me.
Guest guest
You are lucky to have a good and understanding doctor. Mine didn't test me for anything. I am glad that the progesterone worked for you...maybe there is some hope for me too. Is there a specific brand I should ask for? > > > > Has anyone else had difficulty carrying a pregnancy with > hashimotos? > > I have 2 kids pre-hashis and since then have not been able to > carry a > > pregnancy past the sixth week. > > > > My gyn can't find any other medical cause. Guest guest
sex drive issues are adrenal based. Your sex hormones originate from the adrenal glands, so read up whatever you can on those. Sorry this post is not addressed to someone, as I note from the thread there are two or more Peg's posting.
