Where can I find a list of foods that have Iodine in it?

I see that you say to avoid foods with Iodine in it. I have thyroid

problems and do not need to have foods with iodine in it so I am

wondering what I should avoid. I tried to look in the files for

anything on Iodine but did not see it. If it is there I over looked it.

Thanks for the help and sorry I am asking so many quesitons.

Hi Theresa,

I don't think we have a food list file with info regarding Iodine

levels. Do a web search and see what you can find out for yourself.

Iodine occurs naturally in many foods that are good for you...it's not

that you should avoid those...Bee has always recommended that there is

no need to add Iodine as a additional dietary supplement.

==>You do not need to avoid ALL foods with Iodine, just those that are

known to be very high in iodine like seaweed, kelp, etc.
