Guest guest
good morning, . I haven't had a bad sugar or chocolate craving in quite awhile, but this last one (during my cycle) was a doozy! We normally have some chocolates or sweets here (for my husband or guests), and that doesn't bother me. But people keep giving Kemal chocolates (another co-worker gave him a box last night), and at work, there's just like chocolate everywhere, which is unusual. I'm a definite addict, and most of the time I'm okay, but I'm just having a hard time these days. The holidays seem to make it harder. Maybe it's like an alcoholic who can be okay most of the year, but the festivities of Christmas & New Year's can make that person start feeling those tugs of wanting a drink. I'll be okay. I think I just needed to tell someone I slipped and had some M & M's & that I'm having a hard time. I used to be involved in Overeater's Anonymous for many, many years, but haven't felt the need in a long time. It might be good for me to look up my old sponsor & maybe try to get to a few meetings to get a little support during the holidays. My body has been pretty stressed out this past week or so fighting this bronchitis, and I need to help myself as much as I can by eating right. I'm bringing some healthy stuff to the pot luck to make sure there's something I can eat! Thanks for your input, advice, and support! Glad I'm not alone with these stupid chocolate cravings!
