Guest guest
Hello - One thing that I have experienced is high blood pressure. I had headaches also when I asked my Dr about it my blood pressure was through the roof. Once I took care of that I was ok. So...make sure you blood pressures ok if it is then it might be synthroid. I like to rule things out before I start messing with meds Good Luck > Hi everybody, > > Has anyone ever experienced a reduction of symptoms by decreasing > their Synthroid dosage? Guest guest
Too much hormone too quickly is what gave you the headaches. T3 did this to me, it is not the type of thyroid it is simply too much. You did the right thing by lowering the dose. If you still need more for other symptoms, up the dose gradually adjusting on a weekly basis. > Hi everybody, > > Has anyone ever experienced a reduction of symptoms by decreasing > their Synthroid dosage? Guest guest
Yes Françoise, I decreased mine from 150mcg to 112mcg, but I take T3 as well. I am feeling fewer hypo symptoms. I think that since my body is making less RT3, the T3 I take is working better.
