Here it is: More on pregnenolone & progesterone Dear Sherry, This is interesting, from Dr. Mercola's site. I didn't copy the url but you can search with pregnenolone. " Pregnenolone is then converted to other hormones such as progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, estrogen, cortisol, and dozens of other critical hormones. " So the connection is there, between your taking progesterone cream and pregnenolone (contained in coconut oil). Maybe you are getting too much progesterone? The best Sherry, Bee >No I don't take thyroid medicine. I just found out a couple of >years ago that I only had half a thyroid. I found out when I had >one of those body scans. I'm glad you still >have a sense of humour. Why would you consider giving up the coconut >oil? Are you taking another antifungal as well? If you are, I >suggest you stop taking it, and that you also stop taking >powerdophilus. You may have started on the probiotic too soon. Bee, I stopped the oil of oreg, still taking the coconut oil but I believe it is causing problems. I get more neck pain after having the VCO along with sea salt. This sucks! I have reduced my VCO to 1tbs a day but it is hard giving up the sea salt. My brother's garden is just starting to flourish and what is a fresh tomato without salt I ask you???? Should I give up the cooked onions and garlic as well? I love to cook with those two ingredients because they have so much flavor. Also I was sucking on whole cloves throughout the day, I stopped, was that too much in addition to the oil of oreg? >==>I believe you need to stay on the diet with coconut oil and >supplements longer before you can tolerate antifungals. Is your >digestion okay? My digestion is great thanks to you. I stopped the acidophilus with regret because that really regulates my bowels to once a day instead of 5 or 6 times :+( ==>Taking B-5 might help. Try it and see. It won't hurt you. You >could eat liver twice a week to get it too, or even better take raw >liver - see Candida Supplements Folder for how to make your own >grated, or frozen pieces, or make the raw liver drink. I am not a liver person, period. (just can't do it). >==>Are you getting 3,000 mg per day of omega-3, i.e. cod liver oil or >fish oil plus vitamin A? My omega-3 comes from Country Life, it says 1,000 mg which I take 3x a day to get the 3,000 but EHA on the label says 180 mg and the DPA is 120 mg. Does that sound right to you? >==>You could increase your vitamin A for a month to 100,000 IUs per >day, then stop for 2 days, and continue for another month. After that >you can go back to 30,000 IUs per day. I upped the Vit A to 100,000 IU and have noticed a difference in my skin already. I was getting those little cracks all over my hand and my voice is really hoarse. What could be drying me out so much? The niacin? I take 100 mg a day or could it be the Chlorophyll? You told me to take Chlorofresh but I have to use up my bottle of Chlorophyll first. I take 500 mg a day. Thanks for your input.
