Hi There,

I take mine in the am but I still have big problems

sleeping. I wake up at least 4x thru out the night. It

was sooo tired 2 days ago that I had 2 glasses of

wine just to knock me out for the night (it worked!!

LOL).

How does everyone else handle the sleeping problems

as I don't want to start having to take sleeping

pills.

hello,

I take my medicine first thing in the a.m. I stopped taking my vitamins

past 5 PM. I usually fall asleep by 11:30 or so, but I think the B vitamins

were keeping me up before. Previous to that it would take me a while to

fall asleep and I would wake up often (sometimes every hour or two). Now I

fall asleep right away and wake up once to make a bathroom trip :)

I take mine in the am. And I usually sleep fairly well once I've falled asleep.

I just have a hard time falling asleep, even though I'm extremely tired.

Sometimes I take Alka Seltzer Cold medicine or Percogesic, or something else

that makes you sleepy. (I know that's probably not the best idea.)

You can handle the sleeping problems by getting treated properly, which

means enough medicine to treat symptoms, not the test, and preferably

getting T3.

I know this might not be helpfull but i thought i would post- i go thru

phases with trouble sleeping - usually i believe is brought on by stress or

maybe thyroid - but what ive found good is natural sleeping pills. I cant

take like tylenol pm cause the anti histamine makes me sick and i cant it to

well. I love the natural sleeping pill brand alluna! Its wonderfull. its not

really like a " sleeping pill " but it helps make you feel relaxed so you can

fall asleep. There is no groggy after effects most of the time. I love it -

and you can find at any drug or grocery store- Good luck!

Hi, I found a website that talks about this drug - it also tells the

ingrediants which is 500mg Valerian root extract and 120mg of Hops extract.

You can probally find it anywhere- i first time bought it at walmart and it

does cost more than other sleep aids. It i believe avged out to be 8 to 9

dollars for a few pills. But they do work! take it and lay down.... :) i

looked up in a herb book and besides Valerian and Hops they list Ladys

slipper, catnip, skullcap as good herbs to help produce sleep- it also

mentions these herbs also help tone up the muscles in your stomache and help

the nerves (i didnt even know that). Heres the site i mentioned at the

begining - they have a way you can get a coupon off too. Good luck and i

hope this helps! Hope :)

Thanks Hope. I've tried hops and valerian, but will try to find this

anyway and try it. Thanks ;)

Love and take care,

If a person takes valerian habitually then that person will develop a

tolerance to it and it will gradually become less effective. It

should only be used on an occasional basis or alternated with other

herbal relaxation aids (such as kava kava). Personally I find that

taking 5-HTP (a form of tryptophan) every night at bedtime ensures a

good night's sleep.
