That means at a maintenance dose level, it takes several weeks to build up in concentration to a relatively stable point. However, if you are in good cardiac health, you can probably push that a little. On my second step, I showed up at my doctor's office a little early at four weeks, and he went ahead and changed the dose. He probably made the next increment a little smaller to compensate.
