Guest guest
**Lets take Candida overgrowth for example, well someone who experiences it on a constant basis, before last week I couldn't have told you that someone with a hypo thyroid disorder would be experiencing that... never would have put the two together, try telling that to your physician**....... This caught my eye.I don't have many vaginal yeast infections but I have a an awful one on my skin right now. It's been there for about a month now. They call it tinea versicolor (sp?).I have gooten it on an off since I was about 11 yo,I am now 30.It had been awhile (about 2-3 years) since I had it last but it's stubborn this time.I tried selsun blue on it sat....OMG! I will NEVER do that again! It really irritated it badly! It was fire red,it didn't just itch like heck,it HURT! It dried up over the next few days and flaked off really bad.Today it is better. It's not near as red, just pink.Still itchy but not nearly as bad. It's still flaking and dry.Any suggestions on this? The selsun blue that I used on it had menthol in it,that could've been what made it so much worse. The last time I had it the dermatologist gave me selenium sulfide shampoo for it,I also had a really bad scalp. That cleared it up.I used the SB because it had selenium sulfide in it,too. Thanks, Jenn A
