you have some hormone problems. OTC progesterone cream can help with

" hyper " issues, you might do well with thyroid meds. Don't let doc tell

you it will just go away, figure out what the problem is. Are you on

thyroid meds?

I read before that before a thyroid falters, it can go from hyper to hypo

and back again, sometimes working and sometimes not.

Hi! I posted here before, but I didn't have a copy of my results.

So now I finally got a copy of them and would like some input.

August 9, 2004

TSH 91.61

FT4 0.38

I just had a baby in April and my doctor seems to think this will

just go away like it did before. I had twins in May of last year

and I had hyper issues during the inital part of my pregnancy. The

test results became " normal " after a few months so they didn't treat

me. A few weeks after I delivered my son in April I noticed the

same symptoms (only worse this time). Then my thryroid did a 180.

Does anyone know how this could happen in six weeks? I'm confused.

Having a baby is very tough on your body, as the baby

drains all the things he/she needs for development from

you. Unless you are always watching all environmental

toxins in your diet, the liquids you drink and the air you

are breathing, the thyroid can have all kinds of problems

My current ND that I inherited when my other doc closed his practice

believes what you believe. I am sure you mean well but you are wrong--for

30 years I did everything except stand on my head and spit wooden nickles,

organic food, pure water etc. etc. I would never go through that hell

again, 30 years lost. And I can't stand the ND, he's an idiot.

I so know what you mean about doing everything in that way - avoiding this

or that, including other things at certain times, etc. It's like a jail cell

without bars and that's no way to live a 'normal' life.

This seems to say the antibodies are winning, and your thyroid is

losing, if not long gone. You need treatment.

Yes, and sudden changes in medication dose can trigger a similar swing.
