Everyone is so supportive, which is wonderful and thanks to all the research, help, and my incredible mom, I got my period for the first time in 18 months without provera or birth control. (I had it for 5 days). It was a big surprise and I know you guys can get better if I did. I'm staying on the thyroid and adrenal glandulars because I don't feel my body is ready to be without. Anyhow, I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday(s)!! Happy New Year to all! Thanks a million, la (Tina's daughter)
Guest guest
I'm just finally going through all my messages from last week, so Tina, please tell your daughter how nice it was for her to post and also how happy I am that she is better. That's so great that she got her period too - that must have been stressful. What do you attribute her getting her period to? ----Original Message Follows---- From: " tina83862 " <tina8386@...> Reply-hypothyroidism hypothyroidism Subject: hello to all - from michaella Date: Sun, 28 Dec 2003 02:03:25 -0000 Hi everyone! Guest guest
M took so many supplements--close to 20 pills a day--from adrenal and thyroid glandulars, thyrodine, dhea and all the vitamins, seaweed (kelp, deluce, nori) and many diet changes--no soy for one! Distilled water only--fresh fruits and vegetables and also protein. This started back in Aug. Her memory was the first to improve so she was able to go back to school, along with increased temp and blood pressure. In late Oct. and all of Nov/Dec. we even added more glandulars and to our surprise all of this worked. She got the period 2 days before xmas. Her last one was May of 2002. I took all the info from all the sites and divised my own diet plan with supplements that I knew she needed based on her type of thyroid problem which is conversion of t4 to t3 with adrenal fatigue (insufficiency) Now she is on armour(one grain) and adrenal glandular (only one a day)--and I told her she must still take her vitamins as well. Just not as many as before. She is almost 100% better. We shall see how the armour does. If her temp. comes up than we know she must take this, if it goes too high than we have to back down to half a grain. Everything depends upon her symptoms and we just adjust all the drugs. She has all her backup supplements and knows how to go back to them if she needs too. Everything will depend on getting the second period and her body temps and BP. It was a big surprise, we were ready for plan 3!!! HA!!!! So now it looks like all we have to do is modify everything. thanks tina > I'm just finally going through all my messages from last week, so Tina, > please tell your daughter how nice it was for her to post and also how happy > I am that she is better.
