Guest guest
Hello to all: I made some almond milk (folloed the receipe in the data base). I strained the liquid throught a cheese cloth and wasn't really sure what to do with the paste. So my 15 year old came up to me, saw the paste and rubbed it on her face. She said, " This stuff has got to be good for some thing; can't hurt. " She is now walking aount the house with white stuff stuck to it and thinking she is at a spa. Does anyone know what the paste could be used for and what it " could treat " concerning the skin? I don't want to eat it. Guest guest
Before finding out about Bee's program, I was following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD). Nut milks were a part of the diet but I was told that you should NOT eat the leftover material once you make nut milk. Unfortunately, I cannot remember why and I just tried to look it up but couldn't find the answer. Hopefully someone else will be able to tell us why. Guest guest
I would imagine the paste would be too high in carbs for eating purposes. But almond oil/almonds are excellent as a skin preparation, especially for dry skin.
