Guest guest
Since just a little while into this diet program I have had irregular heartbeats and shortness of breath. It is worse when I eat (sometimes) and when I try to sleep, also I often awake around 4am with increased heartbeat symptoms. I have been through the gamut of heart tests, pulmonary tests are nearly completed with nothing found, and am preparing to see an allergist just in case. Had a cortisyn stimulation test. My endo said if I had adrenal problems my bp should have elevated, instead it went very low, the diastolic going into the 40s and other symptoms that looked like heart attack turned out to be a gastric reaction to the cortisol injection. I'm in a small town, the endo is from Kenya (and seems to be very bright although young) and she could not connect how the drop in bp might indicate adrenal problems according to her experience. The irregular beats have been picked on several tests and I wore a heart monitor for a month and it picked them up almost continually, all hours and situations. I have done some reading on postural hypotensions and postural tacchycardia. Those can be related to dehydration. Any suggestions or thoughts that might help me through diet or supplements. OR any ideas what might be going on? I have had some extraordinary events during this time that have been stressful but the pending diagnosis of anxiety attacks don't fit my profile. I have been through things that probably very few go through and yet no history of anxiety attacks during those horrific events. So I am not ready to be labeled without finding out more.
