Thanks for your point of view, suz and Bee. Based on this instant

gratification attitude, some people make themselves sicker by wanting to heal

faster.

This is why this group helps: it does not advocate quick fixes and tells you it

is going to take time to get healed.

hi francine,

yes, i agree with you! there may be some good products on the market

for killing off candida, or some harsh therapies which can

really " stir things up " but i still believe in the gentle approaches

outlined here - the diet and reduction of stress being the very best

tools.

for most of us, it took a while to get to this point of feeling

poorly, but we live in such a fast paced " instant gratification "

society, its really easy to get into that idea of looking for the

magic pill. wanting to feel better NOW. we forget to examine how we

got this way in the first place!

i think it can be too hard on the body, shocking it with some of the

aggressive treatments. i know i'm one who can benefit from

remembering to have some patience and faith in my body's ability to

regulate itself. plus, its a very lovely and sweet process, choosing

to treat these precious and amazing bodies with some tender loving

care...

I have tried, from the

tender loving care is essential. Since I am highly allergic and most

substances, even natural, are a no no for me, I would like to underline the

benefits

of acupuncture, massages and deep breathing. It wont cure you instantly either

but it will make you feel better overall and renergize you, and it is well

worth your while.

I agree with you about acupuncture, massage and deep breathing. They

have all been a great help to me. The deep breathing and the massage

are both so calming. Acupuncture can be amazing for pain control and

calmness. These are wonderful suggestions. I would add walking and

yoga to the list. Look for a gentle type of yoga when starting out.

My daughter didn't like her yoga teacher and left the class. It is

important to like the teacher's approach. You want to feel relaxed

and happier after class.

Peace,

Sehila
