Hello all: I just wanna tell you that for about two weeks i have

been exercising twice a day, but i read a book about surmenage

[tiredness] that says that excess exercise can lead to weakness, and

they are right, i feel so weak and debilitated today monday as a

result of 2 weeks of harsh walking and i didn't even lose 1 ounce of

weight

thanx all

Losing weight especially for hypo people can be very complicated. One

needs to eat enough so the body does not go into starvation mode and hang

onto all the calories it takes in. Exercise can build muscle which is

heavier that fat. Sometimes the types of food we eat are high on the

glycemic index and therefore we do not lose as efficiently. High salt

diet ( which most Americans have) causes water retention. Not getting

enough water, essential vitamins etc can also keep us from loosing.

Tiredness may be from starting out too fast as well. don't give up

though hang in there! Maybe slow it down a bit and see what happens.

Keep a journal of what you're eating and see if something there can also

be triggering fatigue....too much soy, sugar carbs??

I think i will decrease my dose of levothyroxine to 0.05 MGs because under 0.1

mg i feel too hungry, too hot [heat intolerance] and anxious. I think i feel too

tired too under 0.1 because my metabolism is burning more calories and more

energies
