Guest guest
Hi Sheila, Thanks for the info. I do have one of the affected lots, I’m about half way through, I feel fine and will continue to take them. I will finish the bottle in about 6 weeks- long before the expiry date, so probably long before they deteriorate noticeably. I’ll get a new supply in just in case I feel I need it- Armour Recall Forest Pharmaceuticals has initiated a recall of selected bottles of 240mg and 180mg ARMOUR THYROID tablets. These tablets may not last as long as originally intended. The recall applies to: 240mg tablet Lots: 030724, Exp. Aug-08 and 050750, Exp. Dec-08; and 180mg tablet Lots: 1,000-tablet bottles: 030732, Exp. Aug-08, 090724, Exp. Feb-09; 100-tablet bottle lots: 030714, Exp. Jul-08; 050771, Exp. Jul-08; 030723, Exp. Aug-08; 050772, Exp. Aug-08; 040726, Exp. Oct-08; 040727, Exp. Oct-08; 070723, Exp. Nov-08; 070724, Exp. Dec-08; 090724, Exp. Feb-
Guest guest
Hi Louise, Can you not contact the net pharmacy where you got this from? I've always found IPS very helpful when I've had problems- after all everybody wants repeat business. Armour Recall Just been looking on Thyroid UK and Forrest are recalling some Armour again. It's the 4 grain (240mg) size and the lot no. is: 030724 EXP 08/08. Unfortunately I've got one of these and was just about to start using it I haven't got any more so if I don't use these I've run out. It says if you got it from a pharmacy you can take it back, but if you bought it from the net they are not sure what you should do. Louise.
