Hi Sheila,

Thanks for the info. I do have one of the affected lots, I’m about half

way through, I feel fine and will continue to take them. I will finish the

bottle in about 6 weeks- long before the expiry date, so probably long before

they deteriorate noticeably. I’ll get a new supply in just in case I feel

Armour Recall

Forest Pharmaceuticals has initiated a recall of

selected bottles of 240mg and 180mg ARMOUR THYROID tablets. These tablets may

not last as long as originally intended.

The recall applies

to: 240mg tablet Lots: 030724, Exp. Aug-08 and 050750, Exp.

Dec-08; and 180mg tablet Lots: 1,000-tablet bottles: 030732, Exp. Aug-08, 090724,

Exp. Feb-09; 100-tablet bottle lots: 030714, Exp. Jul-08; 050771, Exp. Jul-08;

030723, Exp. Aug-08; 050772, Exp. Aug-08; 040726, Exp. Oct-08; 040727, Exp.

Oct-08; 070723, Exp. Nov-08; 070724, Exp. Dec-08; 090724, Exp. Feb-09

Hi Louise,

Can you not contact the net pharmacy where you got this from?

I've always found IPS very helpful when I've had problems- after all

everybody wants repeat business.

Armour Recall

Just been looking on Thyroid UK and Forrest are recalling some Armour

again. It's the 4 grain (240mg) size and the lot no. is: 030724 EXP

08/08. Unfortunately I've got one of these and was just about to start

using it I haven't got any more so if I don't use these I've run out.

It says if you got it from a pharmacy you can take it back, but if you

bought it from the net they are not sure what you should do.
