Guest guest Posted September 22, 2000 Report Share Posted September 22, 2000 Oh Sylvia: When you are in pain it just plain ole hurts. I take pain meds always when I am hurting. I have an on-going prescription of darvocet and am not at all shy about taking them. My RD encourages it and trusts me not to over-do it. When I fell in the street today, after about an hour I started hurting all over so pulled out the ole darvocet. Thanks for saying it but I am not any more a trouper than anybody else dealing with this stuff. We survive, we get by with what ever means we can. We live and learn. We learn when to cut back on activity and when to go for it. It is just another way of life for us isn't it? You are a trouper too and so is everybody else.
