I can't do carbonated water or peppermint at all.

There are many multi-enzyme digestive fomulas online & at health food

stores. Bromelain & HCL w/betaine & pepsin are only a few enzymes. There

are a great many others for breaking down & assimilating *all* foods.

The better ones are more expensive tho & sometimes one has to take up 10 per

meals & sometimes in between so the bottle gets emptied too fast. I

personally can't afford that.

The best one I've found so far is Acti-Zyme which has a great many different

digestive enzymes in it including Bromelain & I think HCl too. It's pricey

tho so I'm no longer buying it. I have to rely on HCl, acidophilis/bifidus

(Kyo-dophilus) & /or rejuvelac or kefir I make myself. So far so good on the

kefir so I'm staying with it for a while & see how it goes.

As for psyllium, I stopped taking that stuff years ago because it bloated me

up too much.

We just have to experiment with adjusting the diet & supplements to suit us,

our incomes & different needs. It's hard but worth it as I've experienced so

far. Good luck & hang in there.

Hi bee,

what can i do about stomach acid. I have burning in my stomach and

when i eat anything i tend to have a bm.

I have alot of gas and bloating also. I am eating the kraut everytime

my stomach aches...it worked last time this hapened but not so far.

any suggestions?

==>You could be experiencing withdrawal symptoms, i.e. feeling like you

can't get filled up, and also candida itself makes you " want " to eat

foods that feed it, because it is striving to live. Some people

describe it as the candida calling out to them " eat sugars, eat bread,

eat this and that, " all which feed it. Like today, when you ate enough

good food (quantity is important) your stomach was better. When I get

stressed my appetite suffers too, so I must force myself to eat

properly. That's when I rely on Bee's Raw Egg Drink, and also have

bone broths, soups, etc. which are easier to digest when under stress,

and also provide essential nutrients.

==>I think the burning you are feeling is candida overgrowing in your

stomach. It's apparent your digestion needs to be improved; so start

with having 1 tbl unpasteurized sauerkraut with every meal, and

everytime your stomach aches eat another tbls. Also read the articles

in the Digestion Folder on how to buy and take Betaine Hydrochloric

Acid with pepsin.

==>If you took ThreeLac the sauerkraut won't help. Only take coconut

oil and Pau D'Arco tea antifungals with the diet and supplements. Try

1 tsp. baking soda in 6 ounces of warm filtered water and sip it until

your stomach stops hurting, or drink club soda. If that doesn't help

drink ginger tea.

==>I suggest you eliminate the lemon before you eliminate the sea

salt; but yes, you could take Betaine HCl instead and add the drink

later. But also remember that an upset stomach is also caused by

candida being killed off. Take 1 tsp baking soda in 6 ounces of warm

water when your stomach is upset - sip slowly and stop when your upset

stops.

I have been on your diet since April 06, and up until Christmas I

very strict with sticking to it (and was having excellent results),

my digestion from the start has not been the best, but I could get

away with taking 1-2 HCL digestive tablets with each meal. Over the

Christmas & New Years holidays I did cheat, I didnt think it was too

badly, however my body has reacted badly, I've had a uti (which has

improved alot),my periods have gone a bit haywire, libido's died

again, but my digestion has really gone down hill and Im now up to 9-

10 digestive tablets at each meal, I do have the other kind of

digestive tablets, amylase etc, but I dont believe they agree with

me, my tongue feels burnt and patchy after taking them. For the last

9-10 days I have been having mainly pureed foods, but after a meal

(including pureed) the food just sits there under the top of my ribs

causing lots of discomfort. And 3 to 4 hours later, Im having

problems laying down, with reflux, burping and alot of discomfort.

I have the recommended amounts of fat, I have the lemon drink, 2 T

of sauerkraut at the start of the meal and at the end, the HCL

tablets I split 3 ways and have before, midway and ending a meal. I

found that I got constipated so I am back on coffee enemas every 4

days. I know things should improve, I dont want to have to keep

taking that many digestive tablets, (for one thing its really

expensive taking that many)

Can you help me understand better whats happening to me, knowing

why, how, and how it will heal will surely ease my anxiety about

this. Is there something else that I can do to help improve things

more?

By the way, your website is awesome, its very easy to get around, my

hats off to you and Debby for creating it, how clever you both are.

Can anyone tell me how paypal functions?

Hi Kat,

You did a number on yourself over the holidays didn't you? It can

take time to get back to where you were before. I suggest you do the

entire 9-day program which starts with soups & broths and then pureed

foods, but don't go off the HCl and other supplements while doing it.

Do a search on my new website for it.

Also try taking some of your HCl 40-50 minutes after meals rather than

with the meal.
