You need to consult with Dr P. This may be related to rapid weight loss =

rapid estrogen loss. Estrogen binds to fat and when you lose weight quickly

you have many symptoms of early pregnancy; moodiness, nausea etc. I would

think you might benefit from trying the estrogen patch. You may already

have the script in place which is usually part of the pre op meds that is

faxed to your pharmacy.

Have you tried starting your day with a few saltines? The few carbs may

help.

nauseous

Hi,

I'm 3 months out and continue to fight nausea everyday. The nausea

is keeping me from eating and drinking correctly. The only thing

I am able to enjoy is watermelon. I am still taking the medicine

for nausea that was given the time of surgery. I get nauseous

just smelling food cooking. I know I'm not eating enough protein

and not drinking like I should because I'm always sick at my

stomach. Have any of you'll suffered from this and does it ever

get any better. I've lost 50 lbs but am miserable feeling sick

all the time.

Hi ,

I am 1 year post-op and I was nauseated for an full 4 months before it finally

passed. Once I got past the nausea things started smelling good and food

started tasting better. Just keep taking your vitamins and know that eventually

the nausea will go away. At the 4 month mark I started feeling so much better

and eating better. Hang in there . . . . . this too shall pass!

Hi ,

I found eating small and frequent snacks helped with my nausea early on. It will

get better with time! Hang in there...

I also was very nauseous after surgery for several months. I was very gaggy

with dry heaves, even in the middle of the night. I finally went to a

gastrointestinal specialist. I had developed several ulcers. He put me

back on prevacid for about 3 months which made all the difference for me. I

think if you don't get better soon with the nausea, you need to seek out

additional help. It is awful to feel sick to your stomach on a regular

basis. Hope you feel better soon.

I've been getting nauseous when I drink the homemade broth I made.

I don't get this with the raw egg drink. Could the broth be inducing

more of a healing reaction, or is it something about the way I made

it :-) I get nauseous very quickly after not much of it, so I

can't drink anymore.

==>Yes, nausea is a healing symptom too, but you very small amounts at

a time along with meat or eggs (not alone) and see how you do. Do

ensure you've got enough digestive enzymes. Not enough will also

nausea.
