You should probably not take Synthroid with anything, including other

prescription medicines. These often use calcium carbonate as a filler or

binder, and the calcium will definitely interfere with absorption. Wait

at least an hour.

Thanks Tina. This is a great site, but I am not sure if it addresses

this possibility at all. Let me know if you found a specific

reference to thyroid med or levels that I am overlooking.

I haven't seen anything concrete on the web - however, I'm pretty

sure I remember in the book " Thyroid for Dummies " there was quite a

nice list of drugs, including antibiotics, that may disrupt

absorption. The book is in most libraries.

Only thing that I found was not to mix the antibotics with calcium

and that combo would interfere with absorption of thyroid meds. Thank
