Hi all,

In case this could help someone else...For years I have had pain in

my right shoulder. When I began candida treatment around 18 months

ago the pain increased significantly and I had a lot of cramping in

my arm. The pain was worse during die-off. My attempts to get help

from both a chiropractor and an osteopath were a waste of time and

money. I had figured that because the discomfort felt like a cramp

and there were knots in my shoulder, that the problem was due to

magnesium deficiency and would go away when the candida was gone.

I had heard of frozen shoulder because my mother had the condition

as a result of an injury. I had thought that an injury was

required, but actually it is very common among diabetics. Some

believe that magnesium deficiency causes the frozen shoulder as well

as the insulin resistance in diabetics. I happen to have abnormally

high blood sugar if I eat much carbs (I'm not quite diabetic

though).

My point here is that if you have problems with shoulder pain, it

could be caused by the magnesium deficiency that comes with

candida. The treatment is exercise (stretching as well as

strengthening). There are internet sites that show the exercises

(for free). I actually purchased an e-book written by a physical

therapist for $30 (the cost of one chiropractor visit)

http://www.frozenshouldertherapy.com/. You could also have your doc

recommend a therapist. It's important to do the exercises daily for

a period of months to get healed. I'm just thrilled to finally have

a name and treatment for this condition.
