samanthaoti,

wow that sounds frustrating. My sister is going through the same thing with

her doc. She had a lot of blood work done last week and I wanted to post

some of the results to see if anyone can figure this out. Anyway, he told

her that all of her tests came back normal and when she asked to see them,

he made her wait 20 minutes. When she read me the results, they are not

normal. I'm so pissed that docs get away with this sh**.

Triglycerides 314

cholesterol 213, but LDL was 91 and HDL was 60, which is really good

T3 uptake 20.7 (this was low, but I don't even know what this is)

T3 (free I think) 1.94 which was listed as high

CO2 - 21 which was listed as low

Estradinol <10 (low)

Folic Acid >24 (high)

ESR 24 (High)

TSH .78 (normal).

Does this mean anything to you guys? Thanks for your help! BTW, she has a

pulse of 120, BP was 150/90 and she looks like she's 8 mos pregant without

being overweight too bad in other areas.

BP and pulse are WAY too high and if the doc did not offer any

medication for it he is criminal.

Lynda,

it offends me more that he isn't trying to find the root of the problem. If

he gave her meds for high pulse/BP then it would just be a bandaid don't you

think?

:)

yes, but I only meant to get the high levels down initially, of course

the reason must be investigated and it is wrong that he did not do

that

Pretty typical of malnutrition and mal-absorbtion diseases. Has she been

screened for any of these?
