Guest guest
Dear Laurie, I posted a message that went into cyberspace again. This is frustrating when I have so little time. Remind me to get back to you later. Guest guest
Hi Bee You said to remind you to answer my post this weekend since you lost it in cyberspace. I hate when that happens. My message was number 18804. By the way the aches are still increasing everywhere now so I'm really going to have to research this further because it is progressing more rapidly now. thanks Laurie

Try limiting the amount of oxalate containing foods that are highest in oxalates and see if the helps. You can do an internet search to find foods highest in oxalates. ==>I assume you have read the Arthritis article? > It is more probably pesticides that my injured detox pathways, from > chemical sensitivity, can't handle. I am able to buy some organic veggies but not meats etc. so > this may be the problem. ==>More than likely the problem is oxalates and not meats. > I know it isn't the candida diet causing me problems because all my > outward symptoms have healed, I've gained 10 pounds and for the first time in my adult life I am at my desired weight. I've regained all my strength and endurance that I lost the 6 years ago and am no longer exhausted all the time. ==>That's excellent Laurie! Well done! > I'll be continuing with the diet in it's strictest form for another > year or so since I've had candida probably most of my life and > chemical sensitivity since my teen years if not earlier. ==>That's good you've figured out how long you need to be on the strictest form of the diet! > Thanks Bee and take care of yourself. ==>You are welcome. I will take care of myself. Thank you for caring. Luv & hugs, Bee

It is sometimes the case. When I had candida I got horrible aching and stiff joints, so that I couldn't hardly move at times. In some people I believe candida toxins migrate more to their joints as well, while in others it migrates to their heads - everyone is different. ==>In any case, try ginger tea first, which will help clear out toxins and which is an excellent anti-inflammatory and offers pain relief and stomach-settling properties. Fresh ginger works well steeped in boiling water as a tea. Powder capsules are also available, but I recommend using the fresh root - I think there's a recipe for making it in our Recipe Folder. ==>Secondly re-check your foods and supplements very carefully. Any indescretions at this point could cause you some major problems. ==>Thirdly, ensure you are not being unduly exposed to toxins, i.e. from cleaning products, air refresheners, bad candles, new carpet, personal care products, or to molds, etc. ==>Last, did you change anything just before you got the severe symptoms? Keep me posted on how you are doing, and what helps, okay? Luv, Bee

The pain in my toe and finger are steady stiffness and pain so I don't think that is die off because it has been 4 months now slowly increasing. The rest of the body is just aches in the joints which moves from place to place all day and is waking me at night. I know I will eventually figure it out and conquer it too. I haven't had any noticeable die off in quite a while. I just remembered that about 12 years ago a close family member died which was really hard on me so maybe it is somehow related too. > > ==>In any case, try ginger tea first, which will help clear out > toxins and which is an excellent anti-inflammatory and offers pain > relief and stomach-settling properties. Yes I have ginger tea from time to time and have fresh ginger along with my garlic in my egg drink every morning. > > ==>Secondly re-check your foods and supplements very carefully. I will watch the oxalates too. Best wishes, Laurie

My heart goes out to you. ==>A few years ago my 85 year old mother acquired arthritis suddenly because of a severe trauma, and she was able to get it under control without having to resort to pain medications within 4 months, but she stayed off the night shade family of veggies as well. I might suggest that cutting back on the night shade family might be even more important than oxalates - see the list in the Arthritis Article. Guest guest
Thanks Bee, it was devastating watching my mother die of cancer while knowing the " remedies " were causing suffering. I was angry and depressed for years after. > ==>Laurie, emotions can play a big part in our health problems, > especially losing someone close. I quit all nightshades when this started 4 months ago. Thanks for all your input and your precious time. Laurie
