believe Adele outlined in her book " Let's Get Well " how a girl

in a coma was given high doses of vitamin C by dissolving it in

water, freezing it and then chipping the ice and placing it in her

mouth, letting it dissolve and run down her throat. This was on the

order of 20 grams (20,000 mg) a day.

==>Zack, there are circumstances where intravenous sodium ascorbate

is better than taken by mouth, i.e. cancer. It is important to

spread out taking vitamin C during the day so the person doesn't

reach bowel tolerance too early. One lady I know mixes sodium

ascorbate in the water she is going to drink that day. She has

already determined how much her body requires by experimenting with

different amounts.

==>Another way to get sodium ascorbate is to mix 1 teaspoon of sodium

ascorbate into slightly less than 1 cup of filtered water, putting it

in a spray bottle, and sprayed into the nose. An Orthomolecular

Physician reported that the absorption rate is thousands of times

higher than taken by mouth.

much of it. Any extra to the body's needs is just harmelssly passed

out of the body.

==>That is so true. Vitamin C is a water soluble substance that the

body throws off if it doesn't need it!

I thought about that after I sent that message. I can see where injecting

it would be better on the digestive system. Eating/drinking it does

produce some unpleasant effects sometimes.

I've never had a vitamin injection. Does it hurt the muscles very much?

I've had a couple shots of something or other in the past that left my arm

or leg muscles (wherever it was injected) hurting/burning for hours or

even days. I forget what those injections were right now.
