Guest guest
Do you have any other symptoms? Cause many people said their acid reflux went away when the other symptoms did. Guest guest
Yeah, I guess - Acid reflux symptoms are when I eat (most things) my stomach gets really bloated, can't get rid of it (can't burp), if I do it comes up, extreme heartburn, burning in my esophagus, even pain in my neck. I got this really bad about six months prior to being diagnosed with hypo. I thought it was the spicy food I like to eat - but the more I read about hypo the more it seems to be linked. Symptoms of hypo remain the same - fatigue, muscle fatigue, brittle nails, cold intolerance, you know:) > > >- > >It does sound extremely restrictive - but I do wonder about > >intolerances to foods. Guest guest
So it will probably go away when the others go. How long have you been on your current dosage of meds? Guest guest
I have been on the current dosage for about a year I just introduced blood pressure med about 4 months ago and also tried prevacid and other acid reducers. I do notice it less as long as I don't eat a hamburger or something. > > >Yeah, I guess - Acid reflux symptoms are when I eat (most things) my > >stomach gets really bloated, can't get rid of it (can't burp), if I > >do it comes up, extreme heartburn, burning in my esophagus, even pain > >in my neck. Guest guest
So you could be undermedicated. If you had only the reflux I'd think it is not thyroid related, but since the other symptoms are there, it is worth to see a doctor and get Free T3 and Free T4 tested - and antibodies too, to see if you need more meds. Guest guest
The reflux goes along with T4 only meds! You often see people on $ynthroid and zantac, or $ynthroid and lipitor Gracia > So you could be undermedicated.
