Guest guest
I was on Synthroid about 18 years and always wondered if it were a placebo. I feel much better on Armour for the past two years. hom8ker <hom8ker@...> wrote: I have recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and in doing research I find two treatments, synthetic (synthroid or generic) and natural (Armour). I am looking for some feedback on your results with these forms of treatment. I am partial to the natural but does it work?
Guest guest
Armour works great for me. It's an older medicine that can't be patented, but is FDA approved. Guest guest
Where/how do you get this 'Armour' and can you take it with Synthroid? Hugs, Mona Re: Synthetic vs. Natural Armour works great for me. It's an older medicine that can't be patented, but is FDA approved. Guest guest
Your MD can prescribe Armour, though a lot of them won't because it's an older medicine. You can go to the Armour website to find doctors who do prescribe it. ( www.armourthyroid.com ) You would probably take it instead of Synthroid.
