Guest guest
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to raise my energy levels?? I have recently been diagnosed, and also it has led to me suffering depression also.....But the lack of energy and tiredness is starting to affect me in my job also. The last thing I need right now is to be having problems at my work!! I have never had this feeling of an almost complete lack of energy and I dont know how to deal with it. I have only really just started taking my medication so I Do understand it will probably take some time before I get to feeling better!! Thank you all and take care Howick
Guest guest
I don't know if this will help you since everyone is different but I know that if I take CLA and L-glutamine together, I feel pretty invigorated. Other than that, for depression, I HIGHLY recommend a good fish oil or EFA, it does really help. Other than that, excercise ( I know I know..the fatigue) but just give your body 15 minutes a day for a week and see how it feels, you'll be amazed. Well, good luck to you on this. Guest guest
I think I've heard about Maca Root it's called something like Royal Maca Root?!? Yeah...I heard about it's abilities to increase the metabolism a bit and create energy...I read about all of it's wonderful properties and health benefits. I was really interested in trying it but I can't seem to find it at any local health food stores. Where is a place that I could purchase Royal Maca Root, which stores did you guys find it at?? Thanks for your help Have a great day. Larkin

If you aren't currently on an exercise program start slow, or it will be counterproductive (YOU'LL FEEL WORSE!!!) But on my " bad thyroid days " I found that if I could just force myself out for even a 20 minute walk with the dog it would do me a world of good. I don't know if the metabolism-increasing effects of exercise are the same for thyroid sufferers, but I feel much more sluggish when I don't exercise. I know that's true of anyone who gets regular exercise, but I think it's even MORE true for hypothyroids.
Guest guest
I experienced 6-8 weeks of chronic fatigue after starting Armour, plus some other hormones. I had never had the symptom before, and it was pretty awful, but I finally decided I NEEDED to rest, and I needed to heal. Rest is good, unless you are having adrenal problems. Some things I use and have seen an increase in my mood and energy: Ashwaganda - can enhances memory, reduces cortisol levels, increases thyroid hormone levels Tyrosine or DLPA - amino acids, promotes energy and mood leveling and thyroid hormone DMG - I take when I'm feeling extra tired Make sure your getting your vitamins and eating well. Guest guest
Not really! Both are common hypo symptoms, treated by thyroid meds. I think Armour is preferable.
