However, he has had a scalp problem for a long time - patches of what look like scabs all over his scalp under his hair. It causes very bad dandruff as it flakes off and I'm not sure how to help him. I saw to add oregano oil to shampoo in the files. We will try that for sure. > > Bee or anyone, do you have any other proven remedies for dandruff? What would cause such bad looking scabs on the scalp? ==>It sounds like your husband has psoriasis, which is caused by candida overgrowth. It can be treated directly using tea tree oil shampoos or by adding oil of oregano to a good shampoo. But do buy a shampoo from the health store that does not contain harmful ingredients such as propylene glycol (anti-freeze that goes by many other names), soldium lauryl sulfate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) and many others. See this article for a more complete description: http://www.therealessentials.com/care1.html ==>He should do regular treatments with coconut oil as well. Saturate the scalp and hair and leave it on for at least 1 hour and then wash it out. ==>Direct treatment will help alleviate it, but it can only be cured by doing the entire candida program. He may find it will flare up even worse for awhile when starting on the diet, but it will improve over time. Bee
Guest guest
Bee, thank you so very much! That is very interesting because his father has psoriasis all over his elbows and arms and I am POSITIVE his father has a candida problem. Unfortunately, his father would never ever change his diet or alcohol habits though. ~Anita Bee Wilder <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: ==>It sounds like your husband has psoriasis, which is caused by candida overgrowth. --------------------------------- Bring photos to life! The kind I have is called Planter's psoriasis, and it's only on the hands and feet. Since starting Bee's diet my psoriasis was 95% gone.. just a light peel on my feet on occassion. Recently I chose to go on antibiotics after a very painful root canal. Within two days of starting the antibiotics I got a nasty yeast infection and a large patch of itchy psoriasis in my foot. Coincidence? I think not.. this shows me there is definitely a connection between candida and psoriasis. I have two more days on these stupid pills and can't wait to be rid of them and get back to healing.
