Guest guest
Yes, the Cytomel will get the TSH down. How exactly do you feel worse, what are the symptoms? Guest guest
I was told that Cytomel would help with my energy and depressive issues...but when I take even 10mcg I have the worst joint pain... I took some yesterday early in the afternoon and an hour later, I could hardly walk.. I am fine this morning...tired etc..but the pain is gone. This has happened to me everytime I have tried to take it. very strange. Chriss.
Guest guest
Interesting, there has to be a reason for this. Are you aware that too much T4 can trigger joint pain? For me I got the joint pain because the T3 didn't have a long enough half-life to carry me thorugh the to the next dose. So I had to add some T4. But, I do know that for some too much T4 builds up as RT3 that blocks the absorption of the active T3. And the end result is joint pain. I am sorry this didn't work. Have you tried other sources of thyroid? Guest guest
10mcg is not much... Maybe take more Cytomel, less Synthroid? This always works for me.
