==>It won't always be like that Shirley. I like that " midlife wake-up

call. " I can recall when food was all I could think about too, but

that changed a lot for me. Now food has taken it's proper place in my

life. Eating is a pleasure, not a chore. Nutrition is the key to

health.

I understand how you feel. Many years ago I decided I had to change

my ways and " eat to live " instead of " live to eat. " I wanted to be

around to enjoy my children and watch my grandkids grow up, etc.

etc. Don't know if that helps you at all, but you need to " eat to

live " for your family. Try to focus on other things in your life that

make you happy besides food. I know, it's hard.

I've also never been very interested in cooking. I was an ok cook

but for years it's been whatever is the fastest and simplest. Now

that I'm spending so much time figuring out recipes for the foods we

can eat and how to prepare everything, I'm actually starting to enjoy

it. Guess I feel I'm learning a lot through this and only goes to

show you're never to old to learn LOL.

Anyway, hang in there. Hope things get better for you.

You are right Bee, food is designed to nourish our bodies and

I need to keep that thought in mind.

Do you think we all have alot in common in this group????

Leave it to you bee to always make sense. You see that is why you were put here

on the earth, to keep us all in line. Dont forget to pull me up through that

hole in the clouds if you get to heaven before me.

Sue, like I tell my granddaughter, you eat to be strong and healthy,

and eating for taste only puts you on the road to disaster.
